In the summer of 2007, Weston Collective was founded by artists living in and around Weston and Mount Dennis community in the Northwest region of Toronto.
Weston Collective is all inclusive group of active professional artists of diverse ethnic background living and working in the  vicinity of Weston, Mount Dennis community and beyond with a common goal of working together to enhance the cultural and historical milieu of this community, and contribute to the economic  development of the region through various artistic projects.
The group has since then undertook many artistic initiatives which include group exhibitions, collective painting project and a cancer fundraiser.
The group membership is open and welcomes all other professionals in the arts and design, journalism and other media including honorary membership to other interested professionals outside of art.
